Our second Passport fundraiser is just around the corner! You are invited to have lunch in our Ministry Center on Sunday, May 27th, following worship. Our youth will prepare and serve our meal, and any donations are greatly appreciated.

Summer’sCool Days 2012

I know our FBC children remember last year’s fun trips as a part of Summer’sCool Days. This year, we have planned some fun events again for children ages 4 through 12. Each month throughout the summer, we will go to some fun places together and enjoy our summer days! We plan to visit the NC Zoo, go to Playtopia (an indoor playplace in Burlington) and Yo Zone, and go the the park and a movie. Our first Summer’sCool Day will be Tuesday, June 19th. Our July Summer’sCool Day will be July 17th, and in August, we will have a Summer’sCool Back-to-School event. Stay tuned to weekly FBC Updates as well as our June newsletter for more details about our schedule.

Vacation Bible School at FBC, Graham, is a wonderful outreach to our community and a lot of fun for the children who attend, BUT it can’t happen without you! This year, VBS at First Baptist will start on Sunday, July 8, and continue through Thursday, July 12. If you haven’t already put this date on your calendar, go ahead and do it so you can begin thinking about how you would like to be involved. Our theme this year is Sky: Everything is Possible with God. We will have an organizational meeting this month to help you find your place in VBS 2012. Listen for more news from the VBS front, and we’ll have a great time sharing God’s love with children and adults alike!

The Volunteer Enlistment Team is looking for people to fill vacancies for church teams and councils.  Serving on a team is a great way for you to use your spiritual gifts that will help the entire church.  Please let us know where you are interested in serving by completing this survey and returning it to the church office as soon as possible.
