The Baptist Men of FBC are sponsoring a Valentine Banquet on Saturday, February 11th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Ministry Center. The menu will be salad, bread, ribeye steak, baked potato, dessert, and beverage. This year, a portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be used to support Starfish, our new ministry to feed hungry people. Tickets are $10/adult and $5/children ages 4-12, with a maximum of $25/family.

Music for the evening will be provided by ABC (All Because of Christ), a trio from Siler City. We look forward to hearing lots of great music, and we know the food and fellowship will be wonderful!

If you would like to purchase tickets, a representative of our Baptist Men will be at a table in the hallway near the choir room following morning worship. Make plans now to be a part of this fun Valentine’s event!

Congregational Conversation #6

The Fellowship of Deacons along with our interim pastor have planned a sixth Congregational Conversation on Sunday evening, February 19th, with dinner at 5:00 pm and our meeting at 6:00 pm.

Major Issues to Consider Developing wise ownership of and excitement about the shared vision for the future. Finalizing the narrative for the Congregational Profile. Finalizing and adjusting the Pastoral Profile to fit the needs of our congregation (setting clear expectations about the desired personal, professional, and leadership traits and skills of a new pastor).
